A Lot of Life is waiting (Poem)

When life’s night are long
When dawn brings
Familiar Fog of unrest
I remind myself
A lot of life is waiting

Need for silence
Must be mistaken for desire
Those who truly free
Will not suffer the wait
A lot of life is waiting

Life won’t spare
Even the desireless
But, desire for life
Will salt the wound
A lot of life is waiting

A lot of life is waiting
Waiting for the house to be built
For flowers to fall
To be inconsequential
To rest
